Highlands senior Nick Buten recently committed to play football for NCAA Division III Centre College, located in Danville, Kentucky. Buten started at wide receiver for the 'Birds, and led the team in receptions, receiving touchdowns and receiving yardage in 2009.
Buten will join teammate Hunter Schlosser at Centre College; Schlosser, an offensive lineman for Highlands, committed to Centre College earlier this year.
